1. The Service

Shwe provides live and indicative exchange rates for currencies and prices for precious metals (such as gold and silver) drawn from Iraqi and international markets, together with tools that let you track a personal portfolio, set price alerts, and receive notifications. The Service is provided for general informational purposes only.

2. Information Only — Not Financial Advice

The rates and prices shown in the Service are indicative and provided for information only. They are not an offer, quotation, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or exchange any currency, metal, or other asset, and they do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Rates displayed in the Service may differ from the rates available at Shwe branches or elsewhere at the time of an actual transaction. Always confirm the current rate directly before making any transaction or decision. You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on the Service.

3. Accuracy and Availability

We obtain data from third-party sources and work to keep it current, but we do not warrant that any rate, price, or other information is accurate, complete, timely, or uninterrupted. Data may be delayed, contain errors, or be temporarily unavailable. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

4. Price Alerts and Notifications

Price alerts and push notifications are provided on a best-effort basis and depend on third-party systems, including your device, your network connection, and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. We do not guarantee that any alert or notification will be delivered, delivered on time, or triggered at a specific rate. Please do not rely on alerts or notifications for time-sensitive or high-value decisions.

5. Portfolio and Information You Enter

The portfolio and watchlist features allow you to record holdings and items you wish to follow. This information is for your personal tracking only, is entered by you, and is your responsibility. The Service is not a brokerage, custody, or account-management service. Shwe does not hold, manage, or transact any funds or assets on your behalf through the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or otherwise systematically extract rates, prices, or other data from the Service;
• reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
• interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service;
• copy, redistribute, resell, or publish the data from the Service as your own or for commercial purposes without our written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the compilation of rate and price data, is owned by or licensed to Shwe Company and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Google Firebase (for hosting, database, and messaging) and the Apple App Store and Google Play (for distribution). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. The Service may also contain links to third-party websites or social media that we do not control and for which we are not responsible.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shwe Company and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss (including any financial loss) arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Service or the rates, prices, alerts, or information that it provides.

11. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means that you accept the revised Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
